Event Photography

I have shot live performances, fashion shows, festivals, and more. If you’re looking for an event photographer, please contact me for a quote.

Note: I do not shoot weddings at this time.

Policies

  1. Payment is due at the beginning of our shoot. I accept cash, check, or Venmo. If you are interested in the Premium Portrait package and would like two separate 45 minute sessions or if there is an event you would like me to shoot, the process is a bit different (just contact me for more info).

  2. After we set up a time I will send you a digital contract to sign by email. You must sign it before we can proceed with the shoot.

  3. If you are late, I cannot guarantee that I will have time to make up for your lateness. If I don’t have any other commitments after our shoot, I certainly will, but I can make no promises, so please do your best to arrive on time.

  4. I may end the shoot early if it went smoothly and I think I’ve gotten all the photos I need!

  5. Weather happens. While I’m willing to work in some inconvenient weather conditions such as light rain, wind, or heat, there will be times I have to reschedule due to heavy rain or storms. If you are uncomfortable in certain weather conditions, I’m willing to work with you to reschedule.

  6. If an emergency happens on my end that makes it impossible to return your photos, I will reshoot for free or give you a 100% refund. If some photos are salvageable, I will return whatever I can and offer a partial refund.

  7. All photos will be edited in consistency with my style and portfolio. You may not have access to unedited photos nor edit photos after I send them to you.

  8. I do some natural skin retouching (primarily skin tone evening and major blemish/shadow removal, but skin texture will always be maintained) on photos where blemishes seem distracting, especially close portraits and headshots. If you would rather me not retouch at all, just let me know.

  9. Photos will be returned in the time listed on the package description. If you have purchased headshots and have an audition or interview and are in need of the photos sooner, I may be able to return them sooner if I have time in my schedule. Just ask me and I will do my best!

  10. You must credit me as photographer when posting photos on social media. If you feel you cannot do this, I will watermark your photos for you.

FAQs

  • For headshots, you should dress in neutral, non-distracting colors and styles that compliment the tones of your skin, hair, and eyes.

For portraits, you should wear what makes you happy and what you feel comfortable in.

Overall, the main question to ask yourself, no matter the shoot, is, “what represents me best?”

If you have any trouble deciding what to wear before our shoot, you can always contact me and send pictures and I will help you out!

  • My job as a photographer that you’re paying is to make you feel comfortable and help you pose! Consider this completely out of your hands. I will always make you look your best.

However, communication is important. If there’s something you know you’re uncomfortable with, please communicate it. My priority is for you to be comfortable being yourself and for the photos I take to reflect that.

I absolutely love taking couple photos, but it’s not a type of shoot I do often, so I don’t include it in my package listings at this time. I currently charge the same price for couple photos as I do for my regular portrait packages, although this may change if I do more of these.

If you are interested in a couple shoot, certainly contact me! I have a few examples of couple photos in my portfolio that you can look at.

I used to take portraits for families and children frequently and they are a lot of fun. However, headshots and portraits take priority at this time.

If you are interested in having me take your family portraits, it doesn’t hurt to contact me for a quote! :)
